It's NO Wonder !!!
I STILL have sleep apnea.....no shocker there !!
I took my machine in today for a test..........I've had it for almost 4 years.......just didn't seem to be "blowing" like it should be..........
Pressure set on 11: It is only blowing a 4...m.aybe 4 1/2....................
Maybe that's why I'm sleeping on the drop of a dime !! grrrrrrrrrrr

- As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.

That sometimes is the case with many post-ops, Phyllis .. 
Hence whty the docs say we should always get a second sleep study before tossing away our machines .. 
I wonder if losing your last 50 lbs. might make it finally vanish? Also, I wonder, if not, if you can have that microwave-assisted uvulapalatoplasty (sp. ?) procedure done, where they irradiate your soft palate with microwaves to heat it up and cause scar tissue formation, stretching the loose skin tight?

My last sleep study was last Nov. I'm good for another yr or 2.......
This machine had almost 18000 hours on it.....so I think that I used its little ail off !!!
I'll keep my machine as long as I need it. It has made the world of difference in my life and I don't sleep or leave home without it. Makes for a good "bedbuddy" ......guaranteed birth control as I always have said !! lol
