Friday WLS express

Good morning.  I have a busy day of work, meetings, then decorating until the wee hours if needed, plus the chance of rain when my decorating is the OUTSIDE entrance to the prom...lucky me.  We have standby funeral home tents...nothing like going to the prom and being greeted by "Cochran Funeral Home" when you get out of your car.  We do have valet parking at the prom, so maybe that will make up for it.

All of you going to Galveston have fun.  I won't wish sea lice in the water to bite you, but I wish I was there.  Last year the prom was on LA invasion weekend, and now the RYD on prom weekend.  Crap!

I hope this thing is SOUTH BOUND!!!  Packed and just about to hit the shower.  Jenn D is picking me up and we're off to Loralea's for the carpool!

Lots of nothing going on over here.  Other than a couple of teens I'd like to wring necks on.  So what's new, right? 

I'm off work tonight so plan to have a relaxing night of TV/Movie veggin.  And during commercials plan to finish reading my new book by Jillian Michaels.  I think I've highlighted just about every page.  lol

Good morning everyone,

I finally got a decent night of sleep last night so my head is somewhat out of the fog today.  Safe travels for those of you headed to Galveston.  Have fun, will be thinking of you all. 

Daddy is doing well.  He was prepared for this so he will process through the greiving process without any problem.  He's alot like me and is well grounded.  I get alot of my personality type from him.  He talks openly with me about everything so I am glad I am there for him.

Good Morning OH Family!

Sniff.......sniff.......pout! I wanna go!  How dare my FIL have congestive heart failure this weekend, he could have waited! lol Not much planned today. I kept Layla last night. Summer said she did not feel good....translated I want some sleep. I mopped the kitchen floor before I went to bed, Layla woke up and I went into the kitchen to get her a bottle and slipped on a wet spot. I was carrying her and did not want her to get hurt so put all my weight on my right knee.(and that's my bad one) anyway good news is Layla did not get a scratch on her but I feel like I pulled every muscle in my body. Feel like you do when you've been in a car wreck. Might go to the chiro today to see if that helps. Click on the link below and to see Layla bug eating spaghetti too cute. I posted it on facebook. Hi All,
Well, here I am, like the rest of the hand full of poor souls that aren't getting to go to Galveston.  (does this sound like a pity party?  It is!!)  We had Charlotte's (my oldest DGD) pre-school graduation this morning.  I cried like a baby.  I hate to see her get bigger.  Oh well, there are two more right behind her!!  Hope everyone has a great time at the conference and has lots of pictures to share.  Y'all drive safely and behave (yea, right!).
