I'm not a cat person either. That's why the cat still lives outside. I found out about 6 weeks ago that Michael started letting her in the house when I wasn't home and now, he doesn't care if I'm home or not. He just lets her in probably once a week. She seems to like the dog food...

Yeah, just never could get into the kitty thing.  I know there are some die hard cat fans here, which is great, they are just not for me.  I had one dog, a miniature schnauzer, who I had for 14 years.  When I had to put him down, my heart was broken so badly I swore I would never get another one.  Of course I have to hear it constantly from my almost 14 year old who wants to be a vet that I'm depriving her of a pet.  WHATEVER.  She has a room full of Webkinz, she can walk those things if she wants!  They are much quieter, don't poop in the house, don't beg for food, and don't require a vet bill.  UGH!  hehehe.....

When I was 13 or so years old, I used to babysit my neighbor's kids.  They had two cats, Pixie and Dixie.  Those cats drove me nuts.  Old creaky house, wooden floors, and we lived out in the country so pitch black outside.  Those cats would dart across the room coming out of no where scaring the CRAP out of me.  To make matters worse, they would either appear out of nowhere and jump in my lap, or leap from the back of the chair onto my shoulder and into my lap, then stretch out their feet to the point their nails would dig into my legs.  That was NO fun!!!  I think my gray hair started in THAT house!

To say I am not a cat person would be an understatement.  We had two cats in Spain.  They loved me as much as I disliked them.  I would walk by while they were drinking water from the bowl and push their head in the water.  When we moved to New York, we took them with us.  These were indoor cats.  Would not go outside if you put a bowl of food out the door.  We had a snowstorm one time, about 3 feet.  I tossed them out in it.  Their feet moved real quick for having no claws.  Not 30 minutes later, I am laying down watching TV and sure enough they come over and lay on my stomach.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Evening all,

I have no current sports addictions, my Mav's are out of the playoffs....  Haven't gotten into the baseball thing for quite a few years... used to be a die hard Royals fan...  but happy to see the Rangers doing well, hope they can keep it up!

Nothing new here.  Just wanted to stop by, say hello and let all of the folks that are fortunate enough to be able to attend the RYD conference to have a wonderful time, take LOTS of pics for those of us that can't be there, I know you all will come back with great info for all of us, so please share.

Prayers for a great conference, safe travel prayers for all going to and returning from the conference, prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests.  Healing prayers continue for Nina, Annette, Lynette, and precious Elizabeth Grace.

Blessings,

Avis
