A New Beginning - 5/15/2009

Good morning to all,
In a few hours I will be off to the hospital for surgery.  I'm so excited.  It seemed this day would never come, but oh how grateful I am that it did.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for me as this new journey begins.

I am just putting some fairy dust on u so that u will be ok during the surgery. CONGRATS ON WHAT U ARE ABOUT TO DO!!!!!! IT IS THE BEST THING U WILL EVER DO.  I was 56 when I had mine done.  I use to weigh 285lbs and now I weigh 138 so believe me u won't be sorry for having ur surgery.

Hey Val I am a Barker Babe too!!  You are going to do just GREAT!!!  You are in the best hands around.  You can't even begin to imagine the things God has instore for you.  I never dreamed that I would be where I am today.  It's amazing what this surgery has done for me. 

If you have any questions about anything just ask.  I will help in any way I can.

Congratulations.  Offering up a prayer for an uneventful surgery and recovery.  I am so jealous!  Waiting on insurance approval right now, hoping for surgery in mid-June.  Save me a spot on the loser's bench!
