Susan,

You are not a bad daughter.  You need to take care of you.  Listen to me.  LOL.  I live with it.  You can only do so much, don't let Mom take you on her journey along with her.  If she choses to take that journey, so be it.  You don't have to be a passenger with her.

You are loved.

Susan,

Does not make you a "bad daughter" makes you a smart woman so you can be healthy to take care of your babies. I love my parents very much, but there have been many years that I chose not to visit much because my Dad's attitude was toxic to me. I'm very thankful that in the past year we have mended fences but never feel guilt when you choose to take care of yourself and your family first.

Your loved!

Lynnette

Good morning all!!!! I slept like a slug--another 8 hours like that and I believe I'd feel almost human!! The first thing I did when I got up was check my phone-no call from the agency-so I'm going back to the patient I was with for 12 hrs yesterday-a 58 yr old home pt with cancer. Very caring family-only downside is that it is a 2 bedroom apt-Mama's bed is the living room, and everyone smokes like a freight train. I expect a major migraine before it's all said and done, but this lady is so helpless and precious...well..you just do what you gotta do...I stripped in the garage when I got home last night-thought about showering in the front yard hose, but it wasn't quite dark yet!

I got on the scale yesterday...had been avoiding it...didn't like what I saw...was a good wake up call for me...I was a WLS ANGEL yesterday. When I had the "big regain" one of the things that happened was being AFRAID to weigh. I couldn't let that happen again. Now, I have put the scale away until next Monday morning-ANOTHER very difficult thing to do. I have no idea where all this self discipline is coming from, but I plan to take advantage of it while it's here!!!! I had taken my Garmin training watch to work with me yesterday, to program it, etc, but didn't have time. It's still in my bag and on my "to do" list. I also got "The Beck Solution" book and workbook I've been hearing so much about--didn't have time to open them either--but at least I have plans and good intentions!!!

Enough on me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me.....

Prayers all around...from reading it sounds like MARK is doing better..

how's LYNNETTE's mom?...ANNETTE--bless you and your parents....

TERRY ANN--I am sooooooooooo ready for our island--you just don't know--well--yea--you DO know!!....

GAYE-congrats on your job, but it's playing hell on us getting together--as is mine!!-we need to talk about Galveston-I'll bring my what's his name to RNS this week if you'l bring yours

TRACEY-no call OR text yesterday-I'm going thru withdrawl!!!!!!!

LORALEA-what to get for our EE for Saturday? Besides cupcake and cake?

okay...better get it in gear here...sigh...how come THIS time flies?????

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT...except maybe come on MY board and talk about MY peeps and then be a big ole yellow  chicken and run away and..and..and...and...

Hey!

Yesterday I was crazy busy at work, then I went home and redid my makeup and hair and went out for dinner. I didn't get home until about 10 and I wasn't sure if you'd still be up or with a patient. Will text you later...as I will probably be on the road for a little bit tonite.

Love you!!

Prayers to everyone who is out of balance, WLS related or not.

Completely slammed at work yesterday and the trend continues.  Bad weather = job security for me.  Not pretty, but the truth.  So I've got a ton of email to answer and calls to make.  Still trying to track some lost bags that should be in DFW but somehow ended up in Japan, Brazil and lil ol Oklahoma.  Still scratching my head on those!

Doing FAFSA today for boys college financial aid for next year.  Joy joy, fun fun.  The only thing more exciting is taxes. Bleh!!

Gotta run.  Phone ringing off the hook and it's still early.

Choose to make it a good day!  HUGS
