Hi Vivian and the texas board.... well here is what has happened:

1. went to dallas on sat. morning went to the taste of addison with Ramon and his nephew.
2.sunday woke up and could not move, my left arm was numb both legs from the knee down to my foot was numb.
3. i had a headache that would not go away with either excidrin or tylenol or anything prescribed.
4. ramon decided to tak e me to an urgent care clinic and that doctor said it was possible anyrsum and to get to the emergency room.
5. we went to baylor er and they ruled out the brain anyrusem and said it could possible be menegitis(sp)... i did not want the test that they check for menegitist.... so we headed back to houston....
6. came to houston went to my doctor she said ihad some signs of bells palsy... which i knew it wasnt... so she said go to the er....
7. so we go to the methodist er and most of the symptoms i have point to MS...... not that I hve time or want to deal with ms... i had all my kids come over and ramon and i talked to them today....told them that onces its confirmed and my bodys starts going down hil that i will take care of myself because i did not want to be a burden to anyone.....

so just have to see what happens...and to top it off i am behind on my rent and the land lord is going to put the apartment on the list for sale.... so pretty much will be homeless pretty soon with some kind of illness....

i know there were some who wanted an update so this is the best that i can give right...

i am about to go to bed i am exhausted and my body is dragging...

good night and thank you for the prayers.

My sweet girl I know it seems like the darkest thing right now but MS is not a death sentence and I know many that live good quality lives.  Of course that seems an impossible feat for you right now so I mostly don't want you to worry about anything right now.  You have many friends and family that love and adore you and we'll figure out something.  I hope those that have experience with this condidtion can come foward and offer some hope.  Keep the faith...we are here for you and we'll figure something out.
I love you sweetie, Y

Hi Debra,

Sorry you are going through this.  I was diagnosed with MS two months ago myself. I had numbnees down the whole right side of my body from head to toe.  I still have residual leg heaviness and numbness on the right side of my head.  I also started having some heaviness in my left arm and leg.  I started on injections of Rebif that I take 3 days a week.

I could not believe that this happened to me.  After all I had the surgery to get healthy.  I got rid of my diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and sleep apnea, now to only have to do the injections for the rest of my life.  I am, however, so thankful that I've lost 100 pounds and am healthy enough to handle this.  One hundred pounds ago might have been another story.

I do have to make sure that I keepup with exercise and eating right, etc.  There are good days and bad days but overall I'm good.  I will pray for you.  If you would like to chat PM or you can find me on FB at Debbie Thomas Yohman.

I know a couple of people who have gotten MS since having surgery and we are wondering if there might be some kind of link.  I haven't found any connection at this poin.

God Bless You,
Deb

Debra....please listen to Yvonne.   I had a neighbor that was diagnosed with MS literally 20 yrs ago and she is now in a wheelchair but still living a quality of life.    Remember life is what you make it.    I am so sorry that all this is happening to you at one time.   Just know that we LOVE you so much and we are praying for you big time.   Maybe they are wrong with the MS diagnosis...but if not....remember we can do hard things.    Remember you have people ( like Yvonne said ) that love you dearly and are praying for God to heal your body.  Love you and you and Ramon will stay in my prayers as long as they are needed !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Debra,

First of all I'm so sorry your sick and going thru this. But have they confirmed MS? Several years ago I too had symptoms of MS (a lot of illnesses do) but was finally diagnosed with something else. Unless you have seen a neurologist MS may not be it. If it is indeed MS does not mean you are sentenced to be bed ridden etc  Remember last year when you had a similar experience and it was your vitamins or lack of taking them? Are you taking your vitamins?

hugs,

Lynnette
