I got approved with Medicaid to have surgery here also my Surgeon is Mario Longoria have you had surgery yet?

I had my surgery June 9, 2009.  I went throught the exercise and nutrition thing also.  It helps you prepare your body for surgery and get you ready for after surgery.  Do what that tell you to do, and it makes it easier on you.  I lost 25 lbs during the exercise and nutrition portion before my surgery.  It helped my body when I went and had my surgery.  Good luck and we will see you on the Loser's bench soon.... let me know when you are scheduled for your surgery. 
Come to the Texas Message Board (TMB) often and ask questions or vent your frustrations.  It helps your mental health when you have others to talk to about your troubles or questions.  Don't be afraid to ask ANY question.  We have heard them all.

Hugh Babineau in Tyler, Texas.  He performs surgery at ETMC Tyler (A center of excellence) and at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital.  I am pretty sure he takes both Medicare and Medicaid.

Did Medicare cover your VSG? I thought they only could do lap band or rny? Judy
