Debbie, you need to find a bariatric surgeon and go through the battery of test to see what is wrong. The WLS surgeries today have come a long way. I'm thinking based on what you've said that the band is eroded into your stomach. Is a revision possible? There are many people that had the older weight loss surgeries that are being revised because of health issues. Houston has some fantastic surgeons, find one on your insurance and schedule an appt. I agree with Cheryl Dr. Naaman is a good start, I also recommend my surgeon Dr. Wongsa. Please don't live like this, you deserve a happy, healthy life. Best wishes, Dana

My surgeon is wonderful and tops in his field. Dr. Erik Wilson at Memorial Hermann Med Center a center of excellence for Bariatric Surgery. He is one of a handful of doctos that will do revisions. Please call him or another surgeon and get some medical test done. I know that someone out there can help you. Have faith and take care..Andrea

I had a ring put on by Dr Molina in 1985. I achieved my goal of130 lb weight loss and was pleased. Over the year the weight started to return and the ring began giving me issues with vomiting and chest pains. Finally this year 2022 I decided to have the ring removed. The surgeon was unable to find the ring and was not able to explain what happened. Has anyone else ever had this issue. The surgeon fixed s hiatal hernia during the surgery and told me he felt that was what caused my issues. My question what happened to the ring and where is it. Please share any insight you might have. d statlander
