Topic: RE: Going to Orlando!
Sherri,
Funny you should ask/post this...I'm in the process of planning a trip to Orlando/Disney with my husband--who has NEVER been there. Sure I could give you tons of input...but there's SO much info to be had. If you have any specific questions, I'll be happy to answer. I've been there at LEAST 15 times....but the most recent visit was about 3 years ago...so I'm sure SOME things have changed.
Feel free to email me

Topic: Going to Orlando!
Hi All,
Planning a trip to Orlando with the kids in January 06. Just thought I would get some input from any who have been there before. Any advice for a first time visitor? Looking for eating places, attractions that would be fun for all of us that may not be so known to all the tourists. We will be doing Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World for sure.
Rented a house so we will be eating at least one meal at the house a day. Kind of wanted to stay away from the eating establishments within the theme parks as I imagine they are pretty pricey, but if the place is really cool I would definately consider it. How about the grocery stores, are the prices higher there than in other areas?
We will be there for six nights. My kids are 10, 12, and 13. Any and all suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Topic: The most beautiful ??? I've seen are in ?????
In replying to C There, I thought that this would be a good topic.
I think the most beautiful sunsets are seen when driving thru AZ. We even got caught in a rainbow once, now that was amazing. The desert backdrop is truly breathtaking.
How about sharing yours.

HI EVERYONE!!! I just found this message board so, I'm psyched!! I love to travel and have done quite a bit. I've been to England a couple of times and have visited about 25 of our fair states here in the USA. My mom is an avid traveler and since she has retired, she's definitely going to be doing more. Patty, have you gotten a group up to leave out of Miami in December? I've NEVER been on a cruise and would LOVE to go on one!!! I teach so, it would be great if the cruise could be toward the middle of December.................but, I have personal days I could take if need be. Oh, how much do cruises usually cost? I know it depends on the time you go, but, I have no idea???? I hope to hear from some of you guys!! I just started my dream, wls, with only being post-op 4 weeks!! I have lost 32 lbs and am in a 16 stretch pants but, have BROAD shoulders and am in 18-20 tops!!! YEAHHHHHHH!!!!
Hugs,
Pam

Take a look at the Holiday Inn French Quarter - it's reasonable for a hotel in the french quarter, a block from bourbon street and actually pretty nice. With in walking distance to just about anything and a quick cab ride to the ship terminals..
