he did my surgery last year. no longer takes united healthcare community plan but does take blue care medicaid. i either switch or change drs.dont know what to do       UPDATE: Dr. watson does not take the united healthcare community plan tenncare, but he will take bluecare. i switched to it so thank goodness i get to keep my dr

thank you for your response. i have decided to go with the VSG and am having my surgery on the 19th :) and i'm a fellow Oak Ridger myself :)

I would suggest you go over to the Lap Band forum and talk to some of the folks there and get their advice.  I'm a Boyce patient too, but I had the DS. Best decision of my life :)   Oh, and your stomach/intestines aren't vital if they're just made smaller. Thank goodness I can still eat a plate of food, lol.

I buy my protein shakes from Vitlady.com.  I drink Champion Pure Whey, and they have 42 grams of protein per 8 ozs. They're the best tasting shakes that I've found out there too. :)  Good luck with your surgery!

No, you didn't miss it, it isn't there but he does the DS. That list is very subjective and dependent on the people who own the site and recommend the surgeon's.

Dr. Boyce does them but is not on the list. Dr. Alfons Pomp/NYC use to be on the list til some decided he shouldn't be but he does the DS (did my husband's).

So while the list is a great resource, it isn't infallible.

NO you Dont need a date... ).. I am planning on going this month Will be a very long day though... work 8 hours, then a class from 4-6  and then heading to the class lol... hope its ok to wear scrubs,... I havnt been to FC group yet, looking forward to it... My Bro goes to the church that this group is at and knows the goup leader I believe... I am told they are very nice people ! I believe the more we learn and the support we get will be very helpful to our sucess !
