I'm having the Vertical Sleeve.
I got my surgery date on October 24, 2011. I work in the school system, so I was hoping for a date when I was off during our CHRISTmas break. Fortunately for me, I got it.
I'm nervous and excited at the same time.
What steps have you taken so far towards the process for WLS?

Thanks! That's really good to know. How long did you stay in the hospital?

Dr. Wegner did my Verticle Sleeve 3-28-11. He's a great surgeon and very compasionate. My starting weight was 457lbs and this morning I'm @ 321lbs.
Topic: Carnation instant drink mix diet a success?
If you had to do the Carnation instant drink mix diet pre-0p, please post how much you lost and the # of days you were on it. I did it for 7 days and lost 12 pounds. I have a friend who needs to lose 10 pounds to enter the navy and she is doing this diet but needs support. Thanks!

I'm scheduled for surgery 12/19/11, but I haven't heard anything myself. I would love to know if anyone knows anything about him, etc. also.....
