So it's not official, just that the sleep tech came into the room this morning wearing a very wide grin to tell me she couldn't give me any real news.  She just thought it might be a good idea to send a copy of the report (when it comes back) to Dr. Houston.  She is also a Houston Hottie and knows he'd get a kick out of reading about my latest health improvement.

I guess my husband and I will have to come up with a new bedroom game since I won't look like Darth Vader's little sister anymore.  There's always that old stand-by of The Cowboy and the School Marm...

Thanks, guys! I'm still doing really well and thinking of actually venturing out today to go get groceries. The post-op liquid diet isn't so bad so far. I haven't gotten sick of it yet at least!

Dr. Houston is great. He was very open and pleasant at my consult. I went in armed for bear to argue with him about getting the DS. While it wasn't at all an argument, he said he wouldn't do it had I been less well-informed. If you're leaning toward the DS, read the DS board and gather all the info you can from dsfacts.com and duodenalswitch.com and above all, ask questions. Ditto for the other procedures. Good luck!
