Topic: RE: Signature Health Alliance Insurence anyone???
Pam thanks so much for the information. I live in MI and belong to the MI boards. My family member lives just out side of Nashville. He goes to his primary Dr this Friday and plans on calling me then. I will pass on the phone number to him.
Again Thank you

Steve, I know you are excited about getting your "plastics". When I'm done I would love to have my arms done.  Best wishes!

Topic: RE: Tina is out of surgery
Went to visit Tina yesterday afternoon and she is doing good. She was sipping away and she had just got back from one of her walks. She had her buddy button close by and makes sure she uses it before her walk and shortly after. Not real sure when she will be going home, but I'm sure it will be real soon.

Topic: RE: Gastric Band group meets tonight at Centennial
You are welcome to attend many of our groups regardless of where you've had surgery - our full calendar is on our website (the link is in my signature below). You are welcome to come to our band group, our primary group or any of our outlying groups; the only ones that are reserved for our patients are our psychologist led groups. Each of our surgeons will take adopted band patients who've had surgery in another state. They won't do an adjustment the first visit, they will review your records, your weight and adjustment history and discuss your plan for adjustments. For adopted patients, we have a one time $500.00 program fee (which can be broken up into payments if necessary) which gives you lifelong unlimited access to our bariatric dietitians, exercise physiologist and the 12 psychologist led support groups we have each month. I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Rosenthal last year at a conference - very nice man, very good surgeon.

Cheryl, I'm not as familiar with this plan, but I know we've had patients with Signature. Please call our office at 615-342-1231 and choose the option for the financial counselor and they can check out the insurance benefits and criteria. Thank you for helping your family member, working through that insurance quagmire can be difficult sometimes!

Sher, congratulations on your surgiversary! Congratulations on your weight loss! Please don't ever feel like you've failed, you've lost 63 pounds and that is a monumental achievement. Remember what you need to do and keep working toward that goal. Which support group are you going too?

I am possibly moving to TN in August. Are your support groups open to all, or do you have to have had your surgery in your center? I am looking for a doctor that I can get my fills with also. I will be living in the Westmoreland area.
