Topic: Big Thanks to the Hendersonville Group
Wanted to say a huge THANKS to all the folks at the Hendersonville Hospital support group I attended for the first time on Saturday.  Even though I am not having my surgery at CMC, they were so welcoming, so nice and so easy to talk to.  I felt better than I have yet to date after meeting with these folks.  I definitely plan to keep attending.

Hi - sticking my nose in. If you're having the DS, you really need to go to vitalady.com and check out what she has to offer. The separate vitamins are better for what we need than the BA ADEK combo.

It's definitely a long time coming, though. For 5 years now I have tried to get approved for the surgery. My hubby would have an insurance, they'd deny me, I'd appeal, and denied again, then his job would switch insurance and I'd go through the process all over again. Finally....an insurance approved me! LOL I did 5 mths of the pre-op Dr supervised diet, which seemed to take ages. Then after that, everything has kind of flew by. I can't believe that my surgery is so soon. It's amazing, and I'm scared to death, lol. Surgery is usually not my friend, so I'm hoping things will be good with recovery. I'll be sure to update. I plan on bringing the comp with me to the hospital :) Woohoo for free WIFI!

Thanks for the advice, Michael. I'll see if Parkwest here in Knoxville has those as well. I know the office has the vitamins in regular pill form and not chewables, but I just thought chewables would taste fine. Guess I was wrong, lol.  I've tolerated taking a few more from the bottle, and I just guess I will stomach it for a while longer, lol. I've heard of tastes changing post-op, so hopefully that's the case! ;)

Hi Sniffles,

I did see how the tool tracked weight loss with measurements and thought that looked cool.

Did you see under the nutrition tab where you click on a glass of water every time you drink one and the glass turns blue?  I love that..LOL  made me want to go drink another 8 ounces of water so I could click on another glass...LOL

Thanks for the input... It is appreciated...

Hi Holly,

That was my thought too... Since I visit here daily it would be nice to have one less site to go to....

Another thing that would rank high with me is that it would be user friendly and also it needs to have a large data base in the nutrition section...

Okay Holly, I'm gonna try it out... Thank you for your input... It is appreciated...
