I am going to try to come (for the first time). I had RNY on 6/14- and would love to meet others who are also on this journey.

Topic: Lunch Bunch - July 17th

Just to give everyone a heads up that the date for the July Lunch Bunch has changed from our normal 2nd Saturday of the month. We will still meet at 1pm and, as always, I will need a headcount by Friday evening - Saturday morning at the latest.

We will meet at Chili's at Rivergate unless I receive requests for another area of town. We are willing to move to the location that is going to be most convenient for everyone.

Remember, this group is open to everyone -
any stage of the journey - pre-op, post-op, just researching, etc
   any hospital
   any doctor
   any surgery

We are all have the same destination in mind, a healthier us. We just take varied paths depending on our surgery choice. This is a good way to learn how to eat at a restaurant and enjoy the company as well as the food. We are always willing to help newbies find good options for their food stage and tolerances on any menu. Heck, we've even been known to share entrees rather than take home leftovers. LOL

We welcome support people too. They are an important part of the journey and they need to be able to talk to other support people.

The next Parkwest support group is tonight (7/6) at 6pm according to the paper I have. It's inside the hospital in a meeting room, but I'm not entirely sure where.
