Topic: RE: Today is my 2 year surgiversary!!
I continue to be surprised by how much younger everyone looks in their after photo.
You look marvelous dear! I'm looking forward to meeting you when you are here for the Women's 1/2. We will have to make arrangements to hook up at the expo.

Congrats and thanks for sharing! That made my day! I think all of us want it so bad and then as the days grow close I am sure we will have to also make the choice as you did to just choose to live. I am excited!

They have moved up my consult so I will have a date this Weds. I am sooooo excited and thank you all for your comments! I am still amazed that I have finally gotten to a yes! I went to support group at Centennial yesterday and it was a fabulous experience for me. I highly recommend it! I feel so at peace now. I was so overwhelmed but now I am just relaxed and ready for me day to come and it will. I see light... I look at my closet and think how good it will feel to see smaller things in there not taking up so much room...

Topic: RE: Dr. Boyce's program fee question
I guess I just assumed that all programs provided that stuff. There is a 24/7 nurse line, an exercise physiologist, and a nutritionist with no time restraints of a year. There is a 5yr follow-up plan that patients are to follow. I'm glad Dr. Boyce provides these services as well, I'm just glad that UT does it for so much less. I mean, UT pre-op and follow-up has been extremely personal and friendly. Anytime I've wanted information about a food or exercises they return my call within 24hrs. The nutritionist has even researched various Thai foods for me (my best friend gives me these from his country and I have no idea what they are half the time). If there is an emergency, I get in the same day. I've heard lots of great things about Dr. Boyce. I'm just saying that the Mancini Brothers have just as exceptional care for both pre-op and post-op as anyone else in town. The exercise physiologist is wonderful as well. She teaches water aerobics at the Rush in Farragut and has been so supportive. The nurse Amy and the PA Lynn are awsome and they cut through the BS and give it to you straight. I've loved my experience and all of the help they have given.
