I just can't wait! I am so amazed at how I am feeling and the support I have. I am overflowing with joy! I think it has fully sunk in and I understand why,... why I had to wait. I am at peace and just can't wait! I am so grateful for the love and support from my new friend and my fiinancial counselor at Centenial... even when I was having a hard time getting it she stuck by me. Thanks so much Sherry! I know time will fly and I am trying really hard with my pre op. I can't wait!  I want to go weigh somewhere today not sure where but somewhere. I am trying protein shakes in preparation... just to get used to liquids and help me to lose. I am going to start walking more... my pre op is in a week and only thing I am still not content with is the GI test. I watched a video of the surgery today. DS... I am glad to have seen that it helped me. I am also glad there are things going on at work to look forward to. I am chaging carriers so more training... I am looking forward to Halloween. I got the cutest witch hat at Cracker Barrel... I am hoping I can make it to DS group this week if my ride can get me there I would be soooo happy! My mom and hopefully my son are going to go to my Pre Op. That means soooo much! He has to see if he is working on base or not. Pre op is the 11th so coming up fast and I am soooo happy to have people surrounding me going through this about the same time... Whooo hoooo! 30 Days people!!! After how many years! So happy!

The secret is helping…

There is a need here in our Nashville community.

Can you help?

I am part of a community outreach program in Nashville that provides a “clothing closet" to local area women who temporarily need a helping hand. For various reasons these women are struggling due to many factors that include homelessness and life debilitating addictions.

The challenge we are currently being faced with is the lack of larger-sized clothing for women. There is a very short supply of donated larger-sized clothing items in our “clothing closet."

There are many young women in our community trying to make changes and they are struggling. A nice clean outfit or a garment that fits would help them in so many ways.

The "size" needs tend to range in the upper 20’s and 30’s for Slacks and Skirts and sizes 3X and higher for Blouses. And as you can imagine there are never ever any Bra’s or Undergarments.

If you are currently experiencing weight loss and no longer have need of your larger-sized clothing and would like to donate those items to this wonderful organization would you please send me a message. I will be happy to come to you to pick up the items or make arrangements to get them.
