Topic: Seminar Canceled
Got a call from the patient advocate from Dr. Boyce's office this miring.  The seminar I was to attend tomorrow has been canceled.  She told me they are going to let me skip the seminar and go on with the appointment.  Then I find out they don't accept my insurance, but they do accept a division of it...so all I have to do is switch over.

Called the insurance company and they are working on getting me switched.  Yay!  So when I have confirmation on the switch I will call Ashley back and make my appointment.

And everyone who said they are nice at New Life Center for Bariatric Surgery....You are right, so far the people  I have talked to are very nice and helpful.

I'm not a patient of his, but I had to reply to this.

After reading this post I asked my husband when he became a bariatric surgery...lol his name is James McDowell.   I think there are a lot of James McDowell's in the south.

I agree with the fact that some people will scoff at his program fee, but he is so worth it! I absolutely love his entire office staff and you couldn't ask for a better doctor. His bedside manner is just simply fantastic.

Not a DS'er but Dr. Boyce performed my rny and I couldn't be happier. I just love him and his whole office staff.  I do take his vitamins but haven't had a blood draw yet, next month so we'll see there! Good luck!!

I swear by Biotin 5000mg every day, sometimes twice a day.  If this doesn't help, it could be hormonal.

Hi, I take his in house vitamins. I will have my labs done in November and i will let you know how it goes. I'm very dilligent about the vites so I hope all levels are good. I'd like to have to not take any more or change my routine but,we'llsee. My bmi was also 50.2 as of today I am down 93lbs in less than 6 mos. I am amazed at the DS. It's difficult, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Difficult but worth it. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Tami
