Topic: introduction
Hello everyone. my name is Lynn and I recently had RNY on 8/16/10. When I started the program here in Hawaii I weighed in at 550lbs. The day of surgery I hit my first goal of 50lbs lost. I'm 3 months out and I'm at 416lbs. I can't believe I've lost 134lbs already. I have alot of bariatric friends here in Hawaii but that is all coming to a end. My husband is deploying so my son and I are moving back to Tennessee. I'm really scared about that because I won't have a friend who knows what I'm going through and my family revolves everything around food. (great huh lol) So I guess this is gonna be where I use everything I learned and just see how strong I really am. Sorry if this is all gibberish lol I was trying to put everything in but not be so long.

Festive attire is requested.
There is no cost and is open to patients and significant other. There will be a DJ, refreshments and room for dancing. Good times!

I first found the new flavors at the Nashboro Village Kroger. Most of the flavors were out.
I normally shop at the Hermitage Kroger on Old Hickory Blvd and they now have them as well. The Carrot Cake flavor is really good!

That is soooooo awesome! I'm going to hit every Kroger in a 10 mile radius until I find them. Which one do you go to?

The topic for tonight is "HOLIDAY EATING - WHAT'S YOUR GAME PLAN?" Each person who attends will leave with a GAME PLAN booklet which we will complete at the session. Hopefully, having your own written game plan in booklet form that's small enough to carry in your purse or pocket will help you get through holiday events while staying on track with your WL goals. This group is led by Dr. Janice Livengood, psychologist from Athena Consulting and Psychological Services.
