Bleh

Well, I had my pre-op testing last Monday and on that day my EKG was weird. I called Dr. Houston's office and they said, "Let's wait and see what the doctor *****views it says and what Dr. Houston says." Well, neither were troubled by it. Yesterday the anesthesia folks sent the EKG over to Holly at Dr. Houston's office asking that my primary care comment on it. My primary care is concerned with the EKG and wants me to have a stress test. I have so many emotions and thoughts running through my head right now. Fear that something is really wrong with my heart. Gratitude that I went for WLS so this was found. Hope that it isn't anything and we can move forward with surgery next Tuesday. Frustration because this messes with my "plans". Faith that these aren't our plans I should know what the course of action is after 7:30 this morning. I'm going to try and get in to see someone ASAP so we don't have to reschedule my surgery. I'll keep y'all posted. Marianne

wow Marianne, I'm sorry to hear that and so close to your surgery date. Fortunately, they are able to catch this now. Hopefully, everything will resolve itself quickly. Keep us posted Best wishes, April

We'll be praying that the stress test can be scheduled quickly and everything will be okay so as not to interfere with your surgery date. Let us know what you find out. Susan
