Potassium bloodwork

Hi, on Wednesday when my blood work was done I was at 3.6. I took a water pill yesterday because of the retaining fluids, I couldn't get my shoes on. Water pills will deplete the potassium and so does my chemo pills. Today my blood work came in at 3.9. Yes sirie. I haven't taken any of the potassium dissolvable tablets that my Dr. recommended for me to take. I have just been taking the Magnesium Oxide pills 2 in the am and 2 in the pm and it's keeping my potassium in the normal range. My electro lites were really messed up. Between a great weigh-in yesterday and a great bloodwork up today, I am tickled pink. Plus I don't feel so sick and tired a lot with the magnesium in my system. The oncologist said I may always have the queasy stomach because of the bypass, but hey, it's better then being put in the hospital every week. There's hope for me yet. Love Kathy
