I know what it means!

Hey all, after my small panic last night about Aetna, I called Beth at Vandy right away at 8am this morning. I now know exactly what Aetna wants. The nurse that is reviewing the case is ready to approve the case without sending it to a medical doctor for review, however, she is missing records from 2003 and 2004. I was seen by the same doctor during that time and I had requested her records, but they were taking there time. Beth said that the nurse is giving us until Monday April 10th to submit these records and then it can be approved. Otherwise it will have to go to the doctor for review without it. I called the dr's office and spoke to the medical records woman and told her I need her to fax those records directly to Beth. Beth told me to be firm. I was! I will know more this afternoon whether or not they will fax them. Rachael

Well, the papers were faxed to Beth and then Beth faxed them to the nurse at Aetna 10:30 this morning. I called Aetna this afternoon and it showed that the nurse recieved the documents and sent everything off to the medical doctor for final review. Rachael
