I'm home...for now

Hi Lori, thank you so very much. How are you doing on your weightloss? How's the dear Greg doing on his? He hasn't been on lately, and no update. I bet he's real sexy now. LOL, seriously you both mean a lot to me and I wish you both a successful journey. I don't mind being put into the hospital, it's become my second home. I always get great nurses, we won't talk about the food though. This problem will be forever as long as I am on chemo. You two take care and keep in touch.
Love yas, Kathy
Hi Laura, thank you. Yes it's a great fight. My nurse told me Friday evening that her son was just diagnosed with ALL, a child's form of leukemia. He spends more time at St. Judes Hospital then he does at home. He's worse off as his leukemia won't allow him to grow up, to play, or become a man. My potassium and leukemia is mild compared to this child and his family. Keep him and his parents in your prayers. I am going to contact my oncologist tomorrow regarding changing my chemo. Thank you for your concern and prayers. They mean a lot to me. I know I miss y'all so much when I can't get on the board. Love Kathy
Hi Sara, thank you. I miss y'all too. Morristown-Hamblem hospital has cool computers, but it costs to reply, so at least I can read my mail. But the credit card is maxed out, and I didn't have my debit card with me to pay for the replies. I am beginning to think the hospital is going to become my second home. I'll give you a hint, if ever I am missing and not even posting the quotes check two hospitals, Blount Memorial in Maryville,TN or Morristown-Hamblem in Morristown, TN. I'm sure to be in one of them. Love ya, kathy
Kathy,
Thanks for asking about us. We are doing well. Greg has maintained his wt loss and is hopeful for plastics next year. I am doing good. I have lost 85lbs so far. I am currently back on my insulin pump for a short period of time but will be able to come back off it again soon.
Love ya,
Lori and Greg
