Paper work is in !!

Wel I turned in my paper work and the approval process has begun!! Only problem that might come up is the new Medicre ruleing but I was told if Medicare won't approve me with Dr Lynch that they will find me someone who could do the surgery and they would not just leave me hanging . Laura

Medicare is coming down on Dr.'s and hospitals that are doing the surgery but having too many mortality rates and not fully trained to help the obesity person. My surgeron is just south of Knoxville, in Maryville. Dr. Colquitt/Dr. Ray work out of Blount Memorial. I had my surgery there on Jan. 9 and Dr. Colquitt did it. They have had no mortality rates, and the hospital is equipted for the obese. Because of the over 50 miles, you would have to stay in a motel for about a wee****il he takes out the tube. Mom and I stayed in one that was fairly cheap, had a refridge, stove top and a microwave in it, plus all we had to do was step outside our door and the pool was right there. There's plenty of places for your person who will be staying with you to eat, if you like Wonton soup, don't eat it at the Chinese restaurant next to the motel, it's really peppery. But here's their number and by the way, they are on Medicare's top list 865-984-3413. I know it's a drive, my son lives in Portland, and my other lives in Nashville, but, I have a spare queen bed and dresser in my spare room for over night prior to surgery, but I'm 62 miles away, so you have to stay near the hospital just incase of an emergency and until the tube comes out. Baptist is on the list but Dr Lynch is not they have a 0 mort rate right now but said he had just not done the steps to get the cerification for himself since the center had it . They told me if they could not do it they would find someone local with a great record who would take me .. On a side note my mom who backed out of even lookingat this 2yrs ago went with me FRi . She knows she has to do something or she is in very real danger of lossing her legs or even her life . She listen with an open mind ..asked questions and even took a packet to take home and fil out to start her own journey . I wounder if God just ment for this to me my time to help her be able to do this . Laura Laura
