APPROVED!!!
CONGRATS! That is wonderful.
. You are going through Vanderbilt right? You just had your orientation a month ago and you already did everything and got approved in just a few weeks? I am so impressed (and jealous). I need your insurance!! I am very happy for you. You will have to keep us updated. I am sure you are on cloud 9! I have known vanderbilt to be very quick with setting a surgery date. Usually just a few weeks out from approval. That will be great if they can get you in quick. Type to you later

YEs that is right!- Orientation was in JAN.
all paper wrok was sent for approval to insurance co. on the 2 of FEB.
2 weeks later I am approved. What I was told was once they have the written apporval in hand, the have be to talk to the surgeon's schedular and the set up with the nutitionist............
Torquati is my surgeon too.!!
That's GREAT!!!! I am there with you....I was approved in 2 days! I will be using Dr. Melvin at Vanderbilt....It took me about 1 week to get the actual approval letter, but then I faxed it to Beth Goodrich at Vandy, who sent it to the surgery coordinator. My surgery is March 14th....Vandy told me that they schedule 4 weeks out just in case the anestheologist thinks you need a sleep study or to see a cardiologist. If you do, they can get you in and you can keep your original surgery date....
I am so happy for you.......
