Final Stages

gosh I never thought I would actually make this far. There have been so many set backs. I am waiting for my transportation van to take me to Maryville to pre-register at the hospital, and just 5 days to go. I'm getting antsy wanting Monday to get here. Mary P. I won't be at Vandy. I'll be in Maryville just south of Knoxville at Blount Memorial Hospital only if my potassium comes up out of critical stage.

Kip, it may be longer. My blood work today showed my Potassium is in the critical low stage. My surgeon won't do surgery as long as it's that low. It could cause me to go into a full blown heart attack. Kip is there ever going to be any let up? I'm so tired of everything going against me at the last minute. Thanks for letting me vent. Kathy

Mary, if I have my surgery on Monday, I'll be the one bouncing off the walls, I am still in a wheelchair. My surgery may be pose poned due to the fact my Potassium is to low and is in critical stage. I'm on a lot of potassium now ever since I had to be hospitalized in November with the stomach virus, my potassium level dropped real bad and hasn't come up since. I'm doing everything I can over the next three days to get it back up. Including going off my water pills. I'll let you know if I will be joining you or not. Thanks Tina, I am really bummed out about my potassium that it's too low and may have to put my surgery off until it comes back up. They are increasing my potassium and I have to have more blood work done on Friday and again on Saturday, this will determine if I will be having surgery on Monday or not.
