What have you heard?

Several weeks back I heard that all insurances were going to be required, after the first of January, to cover WLS if it was medically necessary. Have any of you heard this?

Terry, go back about a year of old posts and you will run across the information about this, including the website to find out more information as to when the vote is in January, or other info. I have been on this board since May 04, and it was posted after that. That's how I found out about it. I wish I could tell you more, but I too would have to go back that far and read older posts. I think its stuck in the bill stage. If I remember right a bill has to go through a voting process to turn into a law????? And if they don't do anything with the bill ( like I think they are doing with this bill ) nothing happens and the proposed start date doesn't apply ( Jan 2006 ) So hopefully next year they will vote on it, and it doesn't just die out!!!!
