35 days and counting

everyone, ole Tom Guy thinks he's counting down, so am I after almost 3 years of trying. I couldn't go for my weigh-in today as the driver to take me went home sick. I go next Monday, then the nutrionist of Wednesday. I see my surgeon on the 29th of December, I was supposed to see him in the morning that day but they had to change it to the afternoon. Peggy Allen a post-op who lives near me is going with me to that appointment as my support person. Dr. Colquitt requires it. I will also have to stay in Maryville for a week after discharge because I live more then 50 miles from the hospital. OH Well, I'm hoping for Medicare to help out on that problem. They have a program regarding this type of situation, but when I call all I get is hold please. I still need to sign up for one of their drug programs to pay for my prescriptions. There's a lot to chose from and the print on their website is too small to read. Guess what in half an hour I will be 34 days and counting. Don't know what has been happening to the "Today's Quote" but when I get them I'll post them. Off to long day tomorrow, I see the oncologist and that wears me out. y'all Kathy's

Yay!! For Kathy!! Add 7 more days to that count for me!!! We will be there soon, finding out I'm nowhere near ready! Got SO much to do!! I'm gonna be exausted when I go in, they won't even have to put me under, I'll just sleep thru it all!! Patty

Hi Kathy! I'm so excited for you and Tom both! One more month of my dr. supervised diet for me ... January 5th, I'm submitting for insurance approval I'm rather nervous about being denied but I know I've done what I needed to do.
