Sorry I was wrong About what my Insurance is.

Greetings Everyone, I made a mistake. I am not on Tenncare/Medicad Nor Blue Cross Blue Sheild/ medicad. I just went and took a look at my card and it is Blue Care/ Medicad for sure. That is the insurance that does not want to pay the doctors. And you really do not get that great of doctors when it comes to pcp. I would like to know about the other two plans.. Maybe I will switch if they are good. I do not have much money, but I am willing to save to get it. Thanks and sorry for the mistake. Tina

Tina, TnCare Blue Care is for medications only, Tn Medicade is for medical. Even on my card it has the logo BCBS on it. When you see a Dr. you will present them with the TnCare blue Care card. That's how they bill your insurance, same as prescriptions, it's the same card. It's just weird. But that is the best way to find out about Dr.'s and who takes medicade. Best of luck, Kathy

I tried to send u an email to answer your email but it won't go thru. You don't send any letters or records to your insurance, the surgeon does that after everything is in order. All he needs is confirmation from TNCare medicade that they will do the surgery. Get you a case worker and let them give you a list of surgeon in the area that accepts medicade. You just get a copy of all your records, and Dr.'s letters to give to the surgeon, his office works with the insurance companies in getting you approved. Best of luck, Kathy
