psych evaluation

I have my psych eval set for Thursday....yesterday, I fell and Now i am on crutches, with a leg boot and two wrists splints....do you think it will affect my eval? should I postpone? it took 6 weeks to get this date....let me know your feelings.

DON'T postpone... having fallen won't change any of your answers on the written portion of the evaluation and the evaluator will understand that you had an accident. Just explain what happened, they will know that you didn't intentionally go out and try to hurt yourself. Good luck. Toni

Hi Lisa, Dr. Kathy says don't cancel, being obese accidents to happen. I'm wondering how you are getting around with splints on your wrists and using crutches. You'll do fine, just keep your chin up, and let them know what happened. I agree with Toni and Missy. Cancelling would only cause a another delay. I'm in a wheelchair, but that hasn't stopped me from getting a surgeon to say he will do my surgery. I have had 11 denials, now I have leukemia and my surgeon has agreed. Believe just being on crutches, you will heal and in no time be back to your own self. Let us know about the psych appointment and how it went.
