New to this whole process

Hi everyone, I have just started the journey through the idea of WLS. I met with my surgeon, Dr. Willie Melville, and was very impressed. I met with him for 30-45 min. He answered all my questions, and gave me several things to think about. He suggested I try this site and get into a few chat rooms. I will be the first to day, I'm chatroom illiterate. My psych eval is scheduled for Oct. 10. Dr. Melville says I'm a borderline candidate. The day I went to see him, my BMI was 40.1. My comorbidities are what will probably send me over the top. The people you have posted information on here; it's been great reading all the correspondence, and hearing such positive feedback. It's great to see the prayer verses and requests, and people reaching out to the hurricane victims. I don't know any of you, but I feel like we've been friends a long time. You are among some of the best friends you'll ever make as we all understand the problems of obesity. There's another lady seeing the same Dr. This is a board that no matter how embarrassing the question, we don't take offense, we help you thru it. Just remember that we are always available.
