Tenncare Info.
We can not wait until next year for the state to fix the mess that
they have created. Thousands of people are at risk of losing their life.
We are hearing these reports about death and need your help to verify
such reports. We need a special legislative session this fall. For more
information, go to our web site, www.tenncare.org
August 27 Rally
About 300 people gathered from around the state: Memphis, Paris,
Knoxville, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, Maryville, Cookeville,
McMinnville, Pikeville and Kingsport to mention a few of the cities. We
also had two people from Washington, PA to drive down and be with us
just for this Rally.
August 27, 2005 Rally in Nashville to Kick-off our Petition Drive to ask
for a Special Legislative Session.
There are different ways to ask our state legislators for a Special
Session. The Tennessee Health Care Campaign is using Town Hall Meetings
to organize concerned citizens to make the ask. Between now and the
middle of October, every state legislator needs to be asked to petition
the Speaker of the House and Senate to request a Special Legislative
Session.
