Consult appointment

Hi everyone, I called this morning and I have my consult appointment August 17 with Dr. Colquitt. Just thought I would let y'all know, I haven't given up. I have some marrow removed from my hip on the 10th at Baptist Hospital East, the following week I see the surgeon. I have the jitters regarding next weeks ordeal, but I will get thru it. Hi Kathy! i was reading your post and it actually brought me to tears because you remind me so much of my mom that had breast cancer. Even thru the tough times, she kept her head up high and her faith in God above and never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her. She was an amazing person and so are YOU! Dr. Colquitt is my surgeon for RNY scheduled in October and he is a wonderful man. Good luck to you in your fight against cancer and your weight loss journey! Hi Kathy, I am glad to hear that you have your appointment to see Dr. Colquitt on the 17th. I noticed on your profile that you had seen him last year did things not work out for you then? Since you have registered with the Dr. join us on the board of Dr. Colquitt and Ray. There are some nice people there also. Will be thinking of you! I also have a appointment on the 11th of this month with Dr. Colquitt. Debbie

Hi Kathy, You are such an inspiration to everyone on this board and I'm so glad that you didn't give up on getting WLS. I pray that your hip procedure will go well. I think you will be happy with Dr. Colquitt. So far I have been pleased with him and his office. He did my husband's lap band surgery on 7/12 and I am also scheduled for lap band surgery. As I'm sure you know he is very experienced in RNY and I believe he was the first surgeon in the Knoxville area to do the RNY. Keep smiling! steph
