I'm Lonely and Bored!
Hi Kandy, why can't your friend have two best friends? I have three, and wouldn't change them for the world. A best friend is a part of your soul. They aren't toys to be tossed away when you know longer want them. So don't be down hearted because your friend has another friend. Be happy for her. Let her know you will always be there for her. Keep the communication with her going. Call her up, go shopping, or whatever just like you've always done. She's still your friend. So put on a smile and she'll be happy with you. It's like this message board. I have made so many great friends on here. We email back and forth daily, I love them, yet never met them. They hear about the bad times and the good times. They can share their disappointments with me and share the happy times. That's friendship. Don't give up on your friend because she has a new friend. That just shows she's well liked, probably a reason why she was your best friend. "A Friend Loves at all Times." Proverbs 17:17 Always, Kathy
Hi Kandy, I'm sorry you're feeling sad.
I know how it feels to be "replaced," so to speak. That happened to me with my best friend about 7-8 years ago and I was sooooo sad too. I had even slipped into a pretty bad depression at that time. But you know what? I got through it and I made a lot of new friends since then, even met the man that became my husband.
Then one day, after a couple years had passed, she and I ran into each other and started talking again and we are now friends again, although I have to admit it is not the same as it used to be. We have both grown and our friendship has also grown on a different level. I am married now where before I was single and she was married with one child. I have also moved to another state. But I know that she and I will always be friends. I say, everything happens for a reason even if we don't always understand it at the time. My advice to you is to keep your chin up and know that what is meant to happen will happen and know that everything will work out for you in the end. God has a plan for each and everyone of us. If you need to talk, feel free to email me anytime time.
Tammy
