help questions about blue care ????

hey all its been a while since i posted i called the blue care and they got my papers from dr wright and they send it to the review department and i was wondering how long it usualy takes to hear something from them they got my papers on dec 1 not its just waiting on the answer i hope i get approved or i will have to them lol plz let me know if it takes a long time hugs kristie

Hi Kristie, can't help you out there, they're trying to give me a hard time. Do you have a case manager with Blue Care? If not call the number on the back of your card and request a case manager. Someone will contact you within 24 hours and will work with you and your Dr. to get everything done and approved. This person will contact you every month just to see if they can help you on your journey. I may have to go out of state for mine, and now they tell me that the Dr. in the other state would have to call an 800 # to get a medicade Id number so they can bill TN for payment. I called the number on the back of the card. They gave me another number for a case worker but when I call it I get beeping then a busy signal. Do anyone have the number that I could check it with mine? I am taking all my things into my PCP Friday. I asked the lady at Tenncare if she heard of anyone being approved threw Bluecare lately she said no

I had a case manager for me but I really did not use her. She was very helpful though. She did call monthly to check on my status and she called after surgery.Others have used a case manager and was very helpful to them. The number is on the back of your Tenncare Card. lisa 279\215\150
