Surgery Date

I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas! Looks like I will be having a great Christmas this year! Surgery is scheduled for 7:30 AM, December 1 at Vanderbilt Medical Center East. Dr. William Richards is my surgeon.

I have been having a little pitty-party because I have to wear this cast on my hand and arm. There was concern that I shouldn't have the surgery until the cast comes off, which won't be until February. I have waited too long to put this off another 3 months! Dr Richards is going to let me go through with the surgery and they will just cut the cast off if my body swells too much. Yahoo! Of course I feel like a real baby when I read about troopers like you. I know there have been so many roadblocks in you life, but you just do not know why the delays have happened. I love the verse in Jeremiah, Jer 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
