Hi Everyone! My doctor is referring me to see Dr. Woodman in Memphis to have a consultation for WLS. Is there anyone that has had Dr. Woodman and could let me know what they think of him. My insurance is Aetna and not sure right now if they will pay for the surgery but Dr. Woodman is on my insurance.

I'm seeing Dr. Woodman. All of his patients that I've coresponded with rave about him. I haven't actually met with him yet. You can read his reviews on this site. His office staff is very professional, Once you actually meet one on one with them, you get to see a bit of a lighter side. I think his RN Cyndy is great, she's very responsive. So far, I've seen the psychologist (Dr. Amos) and the nutritionist (Megan); both were recommended by Cyndy. They all work closely together. Dr. Amos and Megan "co-chair" the monthly support group. Based on what I've seen about psychologist & nutritionist fees, I find both of them VERY reasonable. Both are also very suportive. You won't go wrong with them. Dr. Woodman's office is very easy to find. Park in the "Lab Services" part of the parking garage. Dr. Woodman's office is on the same level as the bridge from the garage to the hospital. Cross the bridge, and his office is less that 50 feet from the door. Just keep walking straight ahead, it's on the right. Good Luck, Ron
