Well It's official TNCare...

TNCare is going to be phased out over the next year. Some TNCare participates will quailify for Medicaid. For those of you that find you don't. Check out local hospitals or county hospitals for indigent patient services. I know hamilton county has such a program. They have certain drs and pharmacies that participate with them. Your dr and prescription co pays are based on your income. This whole insurance mess has me so worried. I know Im ok with the WLS but this summer I had an abnormal pap. When they did the LEEP procedure they did find rare abnormal cells. The gyn I saw wanted to see me again in Dec for a recheck to make sure they got all of them. Even with the indigent care services I can't afford the recheck since that is considered specialty the rate varies and they have told me the biopsy would run me between 100 and 200. Also the gyn said that normal protocol is for me to have paps every 3 months for the next two yrs to make sure everything is ok. I just hope I can find a job with some decent insurance after I graduate in Dec.
