I lost 24# since preop visit.

I went today for my first post op visit. I got my staples out! What a relief! I get to advance to blended/purried stage now and go back in 4 weeks. I lost 24lbs since last visit. I have lost a total of 42 pounds since I first saw Dr. Hruska. How cool! I have not seen this weight in over 4yrs that I can remember. They only time I can remember this weight was when I lost weight after my second child was born. That has been a long time. I was so glad to advance to the next stage. We went to Taco Bell and I got to get Pinto's and cheese. Of course, I could only eat half but who cares! It tasted so much better than yougurt or pudding. I may try scrambled eggs tomorrow. I have been walking with my sister and Dr. wants me to up it to an hour. That is fine, we have already been doing that, just a little slow. I got to drive on they way home. It is a long way (90miles) one way but I did'nt care. I was happy to drive again. Now, I am tired now but I think it was not a bad day. Lisa
