awful smell comming from tube

awful smell comming from tube please help. my doc i wont see until wed and today my place where my g tube is smells really bad. it is getting worse.. does any 1 know what it is?

Sheila, Did you try having the answering service page the doctor? The foul smell could be from infection. Are you running a temp? Is the area around the G-tube red, hot and slightly swollen? Please let us know what happens? Kelly

Don't wait until Wednesday. Any foul odor needs to be investigated and quickly. You do not need to wait and allow an infection time to develop!
