I got an email today from an appeal nurse with CIGNA asking me to call her ASAP. I figured uh-oh, they need more stuff. Imagine my surprise when she answered my call and told me she had read my letter with the appeal and felt she needed to let me know by phone that i WAS APPROVED. I will know more later this week about when my surgery date is. Thank you all for letting me whine and moan and ***** during this. Kelly

Congradulations Kelley! I am so glad for you. It is very close to my date. I went for preop testing today (Monday) or I guess yesterday now. My surgery date is Sept22 at 830am I have to be there at 600am. So, we have to get up at 3am. I am nervous but I am glad it is here. I wish the best for you and congradulations again. That is wonderfull news!

Thank You, thank you all. I still dont have a date but I am floating on cloud nine. Found out today I had paid my out of pocket limit for this year so CIGNA will be covering my surgery at 100% so no need to contineu worrying bout BC/BS as my secondary. I am hoping to have my date by tomorrow so I can start scheduling time off from work, etc. Kel
