Dr Husted and a Duodenal Switch....

Hi, my name is Angela and I live in KY. I was going to have the RNY done, but now have decided to do the DS. I have been told that Dr Husted is one of the best and I was wondering what is his consult fee and is that the only out of pocket expense for going to him? Thanks...Email me at [email protected]

Dr. Husted is a wonderful physician and his statistics speak for themselves. He is OUT OF NETWORK with EVERY insurance. They have a standard deposit for all patients and you can call Ellen at his office to get that information. They are great with the insurance pre approval process and the whole practice is wonderful....they are the most compassionate and caring group of people I have seen and they have a wonderful aftercare program. Dr. Spaw in his office did my surgery and I could not have asked for better care.

Hi, thanks for your reply. What exactly does standard fee mean and out of network? A lady emailed me while ago and said she paid $200 and that took care of her office visits for a couple of years.
