update on kristie tuders
hey all just a little update on me i attend the seminar at centennial on the 7th of this month and got my packet to get started on i have got the most of the 9 page history from and medical forms filled out and i have got some of my medical records from the dr but i still have 4 to get and i got 3 already a lot of drs lol but i just have to fax it to jay at centennial and then they work with tenncare to get me approved so i hope i get approved wheni get all my papers in best wishes on those waiting surgery and good luck on the post ops hugs kristie
I attend their seminar on Sept 21, next week, and I attend Dr. Oxley's in Franklin on the 20th. They say medicare won't pay unless I have 3-5 years of weigh ins and Dr. supervised weight loss attempts. According to medicare today, they don't even have to have prior approval, just submit the hospital bills to them and then they will decide. That's part A, part B will pay 80% of the Dr.'s bill, and Blue Care will pay the other 20%. So hoping when all is done, he can get me a date for November. I want my grandbaby born first and it's due in October. So he doesn't need prior approval, but if medicare doesn't decide to pay, I will have to, eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkk. Social Security doesn't pay that much in my life time. But with all the surgeries I've had in 4 years, medicare has always paid them. So I am not going to worry about it. We may get lucky and have our surgeries around the same time, just different dr.'s. Love ya Kristie, Kathy
