Hi Everyone! How are ya'll doing? I've not been around for like a week or so but I do know a few of you had surgery while I was away -- How did things go? Are you feeling better? Details! Anyhow, sorry I haven't been around. Seems like life has gotten crazy but heck, I can't complain. I'm back in school, so that takes alot of my time. Plus, I've been working on my house -- It seems I'll never be finished. Ugh. My diminishingdivas.com website is doing pretty good too -- There's about 43 members in only 3 weeks! Pretty awsome! Anyways, I just wanted to check in on everyone and see how your doing... I don't know what my latest amount loss is -- I don't see Dr. Hruska till around Halloween! It feels like forever! hi ya sweetie, great seeing you again. How's school, and what are you majoring in? I remember those days and not too long ago either. I graduated in 1991. Newly remarried with two pre teens at that time. I went at night as it was cooler and I could get full time just going 3 nights a week, come home relax and go to bed. I would stay up at night doing homework, sleep in the next morning, get housework done, off to school. Learned to make meals to last 2-3 days and yet be totally a different meal. My sons would quiz me while I fixed their dinner before I would leave. Graduated with a 5.0 gpa, presidents list. Can't complain there. Best of luck with school. I have faith in you, and any teacher that gives you a bad grade hasn't seen how pretty you are when you smile. love ya sweetie. Kathy

Hey Girl.....Thought you'd fell off the face of the earth or something!!! I hope school is going well! Just setting here and can't sleep as usual.Went to the fair tonight and thought I'd die toteing my FAT ASS around that place!!!! Also have had a cold and I think I've made it worse in that night air! Awww sounds like fun chickie! The fair was here last week I think - I totally missed it due to low on money. Hehe.. the joy of college life! Sorry your not feeilng well -- I had that same cold last week, seems to be going around. I think we can blame it on this crazy weather. One day its 80 and then the next its 65! Ugh! Have you started finding a doctor or fighting with insurnace yet? Talk to you soon, Katie

Hey Katie, Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Things got pretty crazy for me for a while. First my husbands uncle passed away and we had to go to Greensboro, and then when we got back, my husband had to go to the hospital with a hugh kidney stone. He ended up being in there for five days, then when I got him home, my daughter got sick and was in the hospital, so I helped out with keeping my granddaughters and staying with her. Then I started having some problems and I ended up yesterday having an EGD and a colonoscopy. My doctor is talking to me now about doing the lapband instead of the bypass surgery because of his need to be able to check my stomach every year. I have the type of polups that turn to cancer if left untreated. I checked with my dr. and he is going to start doing lapbands in November and I have to deal with my insurance until around the end of December. So hopefully, he will be ready for me by the time I get there. I know how school can be. I work at a college and the hustle and bustle is crazy during the fall semester. I get my sleep study done on the 30th, so all I like now is getting my psych evaluation and finishing my six month diet plan.
