I'm baaaaaaaack & banded!!!!!

Hey all just thought I'd drop in to say, I'm banded!!!!!!!! Feeling pretty good, had a little Lortab earlier, not having much gas pains yet (knock on wood). Ate me a little pourable yogurt this morning & I have to say after my torture diet that was one wonderful drink!! Was naseous last night so I had three crackers, YUM!!!!!!!! I am so thrilled to join all you weight loss winners, I am walking around & sipping my water. Feeling GREAT!! Sore in my tummy but nothing I can't handle. My nerves never kicked in, went to the OR last thing I remember was them saying we're going to put this oxygen mask on you & the next thing I knew I was in recovery!! Smooth sailing!! Thank you all so much for your advice & stories, can't wait to start posting some NSV'S & SV's, still can't believe I'm finally here!! Well, will talk soon, gotta catch up on the other posts on the board!! BTW Michelle is at home & that heifer's already taken a shower. Jen B is home too & doing pretty good, real sore around her port area. But all in all the Three Little Pigs are around to oink another day!! Love ya'll! Candi 260.5/???/150

Hey Candi, I am so glad you are doing great. I just found out that I will probably have to go with the band instead of the surgery due to a medical condition that I have. But I also found out that my doctor is going to start doing the bands in November, so maybe he will have time to practice before he gets to me. LOL I have to meet my six month diet requirement for my insurance company and that won't be over until the end of December. I am looking forward to all your post so I can get an idea of how it is going to be for me. Love and Prayers and a big hug.

Girl, you will love the band. Visit the lapband forum, there are so many wonderful people there & lots of great successes. I wouldn't have any other surgery (that's just for me). I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have! Candi 260.5/???/150
