MEMPHIS- SLEEP APNEA
hey,kesha
I live in memphis and had a sleep study done wednesday night and also had nap tests done thursday.my pcp sent me to sleep labs of memphis and they were fantastic their phone# is 901-756-4667 and thier address is 1176 vickery lane-cordova,tn 38016 (off macon rd) they have a web site sleeplabsofmemphis.com These people were really nice and the bedroom was like a really good hotel, they provided breakfast and lunch(back yard burger)and the room has tv/vcr and internet access if you have a laptop they also have a shower available if you have to go to wook when you leave-since Iwas there all the next day doing nap tests they had my results ready before i left.Turn out I have severe sleep apnea they said I stopped breathing 56 times an hour when in deep sleep with a maximum of 58seconds per time(they said all people stop breathing at times when they sleep normal is 10 times or less per hr for 10seconds or less).Hope this helps
My sleep doc is doc Neil Aguillard. I think you will need to see a specialist to get the sleep study ordered. You might check with your WL surgeon - he or she can probably recommend someone. Also, you may need to go to a specific one becasue of your ins so you might check with them as well.

I had my sleep study done at Medothist Central downtown I went to see a Lung Specialist and he sent me there if your insurance is open access like mine you can just call and make an appointment where ever you please if they take your insurance
The bad thing is that I did have sleep apena and had to be treated last year for it
