Hi everyone. Here the last few days I've had a raised spot on my stomach that goes from about 1 inch on one side of my incision to about 3 inches on the other side, about midways down my incision. This spot is a little tender, red, very warm and it hurts me a lot when I am walking, getting up from my chair or sitting down. So yesterday I finally called my doctor's office. They told me I had to come in tomorrow (which is now today). I went in and Dr. Hruska saw me. She told me I had a superficial infection. She gave me some antibiotics to take in liquid form. I'm going this evening to pick it up. Hope it helps. Has anyone else had something like this?? By the way...yesterday I went to our local hospital and weighed. I've lost 4 more pounds! Yeah me. Julie -30 pounds

Hi Julie, I'm sorry you have this infection. Hopefully the antibiotics will help you so that you will feel better. About the weight, that's great, proud of you. I still have your number to call you when I get in the Nashville area around the 18th. Until then, take care of yourself, love ya, Kathy

Julie, I hope you are feeling a little better. Sorry to hear about your infection. I am glad you called the doctor when you did. You wouldn't want it to get really bad. 30lbs is awesome!!!!!! I might have some good news myself. Keep watching for posts. Take care, Nicky
