COUNTDOWN BEGINS WOOOHOOO

3 days to go! I am not the least bit nervous, have complete and total confidence in Dr. Spaw. I am however, very very excited to begin my new life and embrace all the challenges ahead with a positive attitude and wholehearted determination. I know this is a tool, and will use it with the appreciation it deserves for its role in my upcoming transformation. Yippeeee its almost here!!! I wanted to ask you how you felt about the visits. Since your surgery is kinda mid day I didnt know if you'd feel up to me visiting on Monday. I'll definately be there Tuesday. But if you'd like, hon, i'll be there Monday too! I dont want to tire you out lol. I have all my info right here on my desk at work and my wings are strapped on and ready to go. I'm so happy/excited for you! You're in my prayers! Melanie

Melanie, I think you're probably right, I don't think I'll feel up to visits on Monday, but who knows? I have NO idea of what to expect, but I'm planning on a quick recovery, and also plan on getting up and walking the halls as soon as possible. I know from past surgeries (8 of em to be exact) that the faster you get to walkin, the faster you get back to your old self,,,oh, wait, I don't wanna be my OLD SELF LOL....If you feel the need on Monday, and are in the area, PLEASE don't hesitate. My husband will be there, and I've told him all about you so if I'm conked then at least you can poke your head in and be able to know that I made it LOL...Hugs to ya girl, THANKS again! Carol
