Hello family! I'm so excited i'm bursting, so I just have to post.

I am 3 months post op as of yesterday and had my followup with my surgeon today. I started my journey at 247, and today weigh 194 !!! Thats a loss of 53 pounds!

I was so happy I could barely stand still on the scale. Its an incredible number considering I went 5 weeks on a plateau with zero loss. So, not only have I joined the half century club, gotten under 200 lbs and broken a major plateau, but 5 more pounds and i'm half way to goal! I truely appreciate all of you here who encouraged me during the plateau and have offered your support unconditionally. You all are the best! Keep on losin'!! Those of you having surgery soon, you're in my prayers! God bless you all! Melanie
