I am 9 weeks post-op and am still having problems with nausea. Is it foods I am eating or what? It happens at different times of the day, and sometimes when I haven't ate anything. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Judy Reid

Judy, I get nauseated when I eat or drink too fast or when I eat foods that my pouch doesn't appreciate. Other than that if I get dumping syndrome from eating ANYTHING with lots of sugar in it. Hope this helps. Anne

Have you contacted your doctor? I don't want to scare you, but one of the symptoms of a band slipping is nausea. If you haven't already done so, I would call your doctor to see what he/she says. I had the dry heaves in recovery and right after surgery, but that's it. I haven't been nausiated one time since. It could very well be the foods that you're eating, but since it also happens when you haven't eaten anything I would seek advice from the doctor.
